  I rarely write reviews but I read a lot of reviews before purchasing because it’s a big piece of furniture and it would be a huge pain to return if it was junk. Kids are hard one things so I didn’t want to overpay for something that will undoubtedly get scratched and banged up. For the price it’s a good deal. Took me roughly 6-7 hours to put together… about 4.5 to make the two twin beds then another couple hours to finish everything. I took my time and read the directions closely. I did it by myself until I needed my husband to help lift one bed on top of the other. My only issue is the wood is pretty soft. If you tighten the screws to much it quickly smashes the wood. I scratched off the stickers with my finger nails and it definitely dents easily. But again, great deal for the price. It looks good and seems pretty sturdy.

  Pros: the size of it fits my kids room great. The color is nice and goes with a lot.Cons: received the wood a little damaged. A few cracks and dents. It took a long time to assemble and was a bit difficult.However, the damage isn’t severe and it was still a good purchase for the price.

  I noticed a strong chemical smell as soon as I opened the box. I figured it would fade within 24-48 hours. It’s been a few weeks and I can still smell it- causes me a headache if I stay in my kids room for too long. I’d return it, but it’s not worth the hassle. It took two people to put together, so not too hard. Wood is a bit flimsy, so I feel it’s best for younger kids, not teenagers. If you need something durable and can withstand older kids’ weight, I’d look elsewhere. Gave it a 3 star so ease to put together, looks nice and good for price paid.

  I rely on reviews when I purchase Inexpensive furniture of this size. So I must say we are extremely happy. Took my husband a day putting it together of course a day with two kids running around and getting in the way so probably alone it would have taken him 4 -5 hours max. It’s very sturdy, looks expensive, the beds can stand alone. I got rubber furniture protectors for the legs so it doesn’t slide at all. The only thing is we need plywood for over the slats. It works fine but I suggest 2 plywoods 36”x70” approximately for under the mattress just so they don’t cave in on ends. I would 100% buy again. I have many good furniture pieces, a sactional, a sleep number bed- some heirlooms- so I believe in owning good furniture. I believe we could disassemble this at least 1 more time to move it to a new home. It was EXTREMELY affordable. For this bed and two mattresses and linens and things for the beds we paid less than $700 on Amazon. The kids LOVE their bed. This bunk bed is BIG enough and sturdy enough for adult guests. 1 on top and 1 on bottom. But for adults you would definitely want the plywood supports and maybe a more solid mattress. We got the 8 inch spring/foam combo linen spa ones from Amazon. It’s perfect for 4-18 year olds. If we ever have a bigger home I would get one of these for the boys room and one for girls room. That’s how much I’m satisfied with it. Very happy.

  There were quite a few dents and uneven pieces so that made putting it together a challenge but I got it done. The color is a little off from the description. I have not used them as bunk beds yet so I’m not sure how sturdy they are together.

  We are using the bunk beds as two individual beds and really love them. No weird smells out of the box. Solid construction and easy to assemble. My only complaint is that the bed is not pure white, it’s more of a country white. Since the other furniture in the room is pure white, this does bother me slightly but no one else seems to mind in the house :)
