After it’s been put together, it seems to be very sturdy. We are only using the bottom two bunks for now but will eventually use the third when the kids are old enough.The almost docked a star due to the frustration of the instructions. For the person putting this together in the future, make sure you look at the detailed view occasionally. When it was time to put in the piece labeled “5” in the headboard, the holes would not align. It drove me mad until I looked at the detailed view where the piece I actually needed was labeled “5A”. The regular “5” will be used elsewhere. Problem solved.Our almost 4 year old loves it so far.
