  Although this took a little time to put together it was very easy to do. My only complaint is the slide is pretty cheaply made. Not sure it will last long and it has a small lip on the bottom that kind of hurts my daughter. So kind of lost it’s appeal. She doesn’t use the slide much.

  I am a 56 yrs old petite lady and I installed it alone. I did not have anybody to hold etc..but used some books, and chairs :) ...anyway, I managed to put it together alone. Yay! :) All the screws etc. necessary for the installation are there ...at first, I thought the nr.3,5,6 were missing, but I found them all in one little bag. It took me (alone)around 3 hours to put it together. It seems to be sturdy. The mattress (from the photo) is twin>8 inches, and the bed risers are 6 inches; it was delivered on time & in good condition. Thanks.

  My packages were delivered very quickly and everything inside was in perfect condition. The frame itself came together easily enough and the instructions were clear. Finished product is very sturdy and looks wonderful.One star knocked off for the difficulty of putting together the slats and reinforcement brackets. While everything else had convenient holes drilled and very clear placements marked, these did not. The instructions mention the possibility of using power tools, but the necessary placements were too close to junctions to fit my drill in. I had to manually drive every screw into place with a regular Phillips head- blister city! I also recommend getting out a pencil and ruler, especially for the wheels on the trundle (or drawers if that's what you've got). Build time as an amateur working on my own was 2h for the main structure, and another 2.5h for the slats and trundle.

  I love puzzles & following directions and my Husband has the power tools so, we completed the finished product in two sessions; approximately 8-hrs total. Patience with attention to instruction pictures and an organized plan of attack, yield low frustration & positive results from a very happy child! This bed checked all of the boxes for us...pleased with our purchase!

  If this wasn’t a total and complete pain to return, I would. DO NOT get this for your kids, it’s not safe at all. The draws fell apart within 2 days because the fasteners broke while putting them together (metal should not break like that), the ladder sounds like it’s going to snap (with a 5yo on it), the whole top bunk sways and shakes with even the slightest movement and all around I give it a month before both beds break. It’s a law suit waiting to happen and took hours to put together. 0/10, don’t buy.

  Overall for the price it’s okay. Unfortunately the wood it’s made from is very cheap as it has chips in it. If this is for everyday use it will not last long as it’s not the sturdiest. There were no holes for the wooden slats on the frame so I had to make my own. Some of the wooden slats were shorter than others so I had to adjust it accordingly. Not impressed but will be too much of a hassle to return
