All of the pieces came well wrapped and scratch free. I assembled it alone and it was easy enough. Just like any other put together furniture. It doesn’t wobble, which is what I was looking for. This color is hard to find and looks nice in my room. The front of the crib is substantially lower than the back, so as soon as my little one could pull up we had to drop the mattress all the way. I did not receive the toddler rail as some reviewers did.

Perfectly matches the furniture we have.

I love the finish and style of this crib! It was easy to assemble and looks amazing. So happy we purchased this, great value for the money!

It took me less than an hour to assemble, and my son couldn't be happier with it. :)

This thing's pretty decent. I like Da Vinci - I think they are a good value for the price, and seem sturdy and stylish for the most part. They also all have high safety ratings (despite a handful of reviews I've seen to the contrary, which I think are mostly the result of user-error), so I was ok with purchasing this one even though I couldn't find any customer reviews. We got this as an upgrade for the Kalani mini, which we bought when we didn't have the space for a full size. Really went off of looks alone, figuring the quality and safety features would all be comparable to their other cribs. I will say I expected more of a dry wood grain finish, but it is a smooth satin - no big deal. The pieces are also thinner than I thought (the Kalani could probably be dropped from a 10-story building and be fine), but it's still sturdy enough, comes with the crib rail for a toddler bed, and converts to a full size, so we'll have this one for a good while. I had only one problem putting it together: some of the bolts are very close in length, not labeled in the package, and if you use the wrong one it can screw in too far and pop out the other side (I did this, unfortunately). Be careful with that, but I'm sure I could request a replacement component from Da Vinci. Otherwise it is a really nice crib, and the included crib rail and ability to convert to a regular bed are great features.

Seems to be very sturdy. All the wood matches color and finish. No written instructions but photos were clear during install.

We decided to try to Grove model despite the relative lack of reviews, because Da Vinci is a good name and mostly because Grove is one of the only models that comes in the "chestnut" finish. It didn't disappoint! It's a very handsome crib. One time-saving feature is that the warning labels are almost entirely hidden once you put the crib together, so no goo-gone is necessary. The four sides came pre-constructed, so you just need to connect the four legs and mattress platform. I managed to do it almost all myself in about 30-40 minutes, with a little help stabilizing the mattress platform. As another reviewer said, it would be a good idea to mark each bag of hardware (because 2" and 2.25" inch bolts look an awful lot alike). Another tip is to avoid over-tightening the bolts - the first one I did dug into the wood pretty far and looks kind of splintery. Thankfully, it's on the outside, away from baby.As an added bonus, the kit comes with the toddler rail and necessary hardware. (That's what the last bag of bolts and leftover washers are for!) The full-size conversion kit is available separately - from what I could tell from the Da VInci website, this is the set to get: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D457X4YOne small downside is that the package it arrived in was HUGE - wide and flat, like a twin size mattress. It barely fit in the back of my SUV with the seats down, so if you'll be picking it up from a leasing office or post office, you may need a big car. We ended up opening the package and taking it inside piece by piece.

The crib is great for the baby but we have it positioned near the end of our bed right now for sleep training, and the top beam is so thin and angled 90° so it cuts off your circulation if you need to sit down and put your hand on your baby to soothe them when they stir (so they don't wake). This isn't something I would have thought of before buying the crib but I will definitely consider it in the future if we have more children.

I love this color and it is so easy to assemble, however, it came with large chip. I had to sand it down bc I was scared it could cause a splinter. I have a blanket hanging over it to cover it at the moment. I will need to find a solution to make it not as noticeable.

This is a great looking crib especially for the price, a rich mahogany color.
