This bed is fantastic! Comfortable, easy to assemble, and looks great in my room. Highly recommended!
This was a significant undertaking to assemble but very doable. I would not attempt without a battery drill and the appropriate driver for the screws supplied. Since I did have these tools my adult son and I were able to get this together in about 2.5hrs. It seems very sturdy and solid and I think the instructions were pretty well written. The box it arrived in was VERY heavy and the delivery person ignored very clear instructions on where to place the box when delivered. I would recommend being there to receive the delivery to prevent this because it was tough to move after I found it on the front steps.
I only just received this item this week so I can't speak to it's longevity or quality but I like how sturdy it feels and it doesn't shake when someone climbs into the top bunk. The rail in the top feels very protective. Top bed can easily be taken down and put back up without screws/etc which is nice. And it's really cute. No items were damaged in the shipping or missing. As for the assembly, I've put together a lot of furniture before and I think the directions were good. It takes time too. As a single mom, I'm always determined to do things on my own but this is a two person job. Also, I paid for Amazon to deliver to the room of my choice and I'm glad I did because there was no way I could have moved this box up a flight of stairs or between rooms (box is ~130 lbs and an awkward shape).I followed the instructions to get a 6" mattress for the top and I got an 8" for the full bed below.Hope it holds up over time!
I really like the size of the bed it doesn’t take up too much space yet it’s not small. It’s pretty sturdy. Love the removable ladder. Pricing beat Wayfair! No missing pieces. Delivery was great. I highly recommend this bed!!
I was surprised how well this went together and the quality of it for the price. I would definitely buy again.
I love this bed is reallt firm and nice to assemble some of the parts came a little crashed but it was ok. Love it recommended and is not that big neither.
These beds are nice and sturdy, but came damaged (see pictures) setup was fairy simple. The box was a mess and the screws and dowels were scattered through the whole thing. I paid for new, but it seemed like a returned item.
It's excellent quality, great color and passed the shake test. Very sturdy for my rambunctious 8 year old boy. I recommend.
It took us forever to assemble, like 3-4 hours. The directions are pretty good though. We put a couple of boards on wrong (based on where we wanted the ladder) and had to flip them, but otherwise not bad installation. Looks sturdy and seems like it’s good quality. No cracks or damage to the wood. Doesn’t smell. You may want to get a bunkyboard for under the mattress on the top bunk. The sheets hang down underneath (we tucked it all in around the edges, but idk how long it’ll stay like that climbing in/out). Overall a good buy! Our kids love it. FYI - We paid the extra $20 to have the delivery people bring it all the way upstairs to the bedroom. Definitely worth it. The box is VERY heavy.
Bought this for a 6 year old. Definitely some work to put together but think the instructions are pretty clear. Yes without paying attention you might use the parts for the small bed on the big. It is heavy in the box 140 lbs so get some help with that. It’s solid and sturdy. So far just after assembly my only gripe is like it needs more mattress supports. It has easily 1/2 as many as other bunks I’ve either put together or have used. I may either cut more slats for the bottom or put some plywood under the top. The mattress sags a bit between the slats but remains to be seen how much of a problem this is.
